Brand new emojis are coming to iOS 11

So Apple recently released iOS 11 which added more features to their powerful operating system. They also teased that new emojis would be landing later this year and it’s almost time for them to arrive.

Emojis have become so popular, we use them in our every day life. I honestly can’t remember the last time I sent a message without some kind of emoji to accompany my text – I’m sure most of you will be the same.

A total of 56 new emojis are being added. They will be available in iOS 11.1 which is due for release in the next couple of weeks (possibly even days). We don’t have the exact release date yet but we do know that Apple has released iOS 11.1 as a public beta – this means is close to release if beta testers are already trying them out!

The update will please campaigners who have been calling for headscarf, gender neutral and age-specific emojis for a number of years.

Here’s a preview of what to expect:

Stay tuned for the release. We will post an update when it becomes available.
